June, 11: The clean-up process has been completed. We have begun seeking
architects to begin the design and restoration phase.

Jan, 29: Cleaning and drying of the Imogene is almost complete. Work continues on the drying of the hardwood floor
in the theater. Artifacts stored off site are being treated with ozone to remove smoke odors, they will then be stored
in climate controlled storage.
The Santa Rosa Historical Society is soliciting photographs of the January 7th, 2009 Fire and aftermath.

Jan, 18: All artifacts have been removed and cleaning and drying of the artifacts and documents continues offsite.
The drop ceiling has been removed from the theater along with most of the ductwork. Work continues with overall
interior building washing, and drying of the hardwood floor getting the main attention.
Jan, 11: Packing and removing of artifacts continues, removal of stored items and non-artifacts continues,
broken windows have been boarded, and the drying of the building by forced air is in progress. The Society
wishes to thank all the volunteers that have helped in this process so far.
Jan, 10: Milligan Hurri-Clean started work last night, as of today the standing water and water logged
debris have been removed. Categorizing and packing of artifacts from the Museum of Local History has started.
Jan, 9: A contract for cleaning and drying the Theater and artifacts was awarded this evening to Milligan's
Hurri-Clean of Brewton, AL. The board wishes to thank all the Companies that provided bids for the project and
looks forward to working with the staff from Hurri-Clean. Work will commence tonight
Jan, 8: As of today we are waiting on insurance adjusters and fire marshals to give us permission
to enter the Imogene and start cleaning and storing the artifacts. We have had numerous requests from various
contractors to become involved with the restoration. At this point we are not sure of the extent of the damage
or cost involved in cleaning and repairing the Theater.
